Plain-language terms for using this website. They are short on purpose — the important commitments live in the written agreement we sign, not here.
Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Volodymyr Lukaniuk, a public adjuster licensed in Illinois (License No. 19461872) and Indiana (License No. 3556317), trading as Volodya Adjuster, 3052 N Long Ave #2, Chicago, IL 60641. By using the site you accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
What the information here is — and is not
Everything published on this site is general information about property insurance claims. It is not legal advice, not an insurance policy interpretation for your specific loss, and not a promise about what your claim is worth. Insurance policies differ line by line, and only a review of your actual policy and your actual damage can tell you what applies to you.
No adjuster–client relationship is created by this website. Reading these pages, sending the contact form, or calling for a consultation does not by itself engage me on your claim. That relationship begins only when a written public adjuster contract is signed by both of us, as Illinois law requires.
Consultations and fees
- The initial consultation and property inspection are provided free of charge and carry no obligation.
- If we work together, compensation is a percentage of the claim settlement, agreed and stated in writing in the contract before any work begins.
- No fee is ever collected from you upfront for the consultation or inspection.
- Nothing on this site is an offer or guarantee of any particular settlement amount, timeline, or claim outcome. Past claim results do not predict future ones.
Using the contact form
Send only the information needed to evaluate your enquiry. Please do not submit sensitive personal data — Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or medical records — through the form. Enquiries are used solely to respond to you and are never sold or added to marketing lists. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical data to distinguish people from bots.
Accuracy and availability
I keep the content here current and correct to the best of my knowledge, but the site is provided "as is". License numbers, hours and contact details are published so you can verify them independently — and you are encouraged to. The site may be unavailable at times for maintenance, and content may change without notice.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to the State Restoration Services Knowledge Centre and other third-party resources. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and I am not responsible for their content.
Intellectual property
The text, design, photographs and graphics on this site belong to their respective owners and may not be copied or republished commercially without permission. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Illinois law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from reliance on its general information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here limits obligations owed to you under a signed public adjuster contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Public adjusting in Illinois is regulated by the Illinois Department of Insurance, and in Indiana by the Indiana Department of Insurance.
