Advocacy

Claim Negotiations

The difference between the first offer and the right settlement is argued, not wished for.

  • Review of the insurer's estimate against real repair costs
  • Supplement preparation for missed or underpriced scope
  • On-site meetings with the insurer's adjuster
  • Underpaid or previously denied claims re-argued with evidence

FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

What does a public adjuster actually do?

+

A public adjuster is a state-licensed professional who represents the policyholder — not the insurance company — in a property claim. I inspect and document the damage, prepare the estimate, file the claim, and negotiate with your insurer so the settlement reflects your real loss.

How much does it cost to hire you?

+

The consultation and inspection are free. If we work together, public adjusters are typically paid a percentage of the settlement — agreed in writing before any work starts, with no upfront cost to you.

Can I still hire you if I already filed the claim myself?

+

Yes. Many clients come after receiving a first offer that felt too low. A claim can be supplemented, re-inspected and renegotiated — even a closed claim can often be reopened within the policy period.

Do you work outside of Chicago?

+

Yes — I am licensed as a public adjuster across Illinois and Indiana, and serve both homeowners and commercial property owners throughout the region.

What types of damage do you handle?

+

Storm, hail and wind damage, water and fire losses, roof and siding claims, and large commercial losses. As a HAAG-certified inspector and licensed contractor, I document all of them to the standard insurers recognize.

The consultation and the property inspection are free. If I can't add value to your claim, I'll tell you straight — no pressure, no obligation.
